Indelible marker ink stains are often very difficult to remove on smooth surfaces, but not necessarily impossible to clean as the name suggests. Most markers that can’t be removed from smooth surfaces can be removed with ingredients you have at home, such as vinegar or toothpaste. Before attempting a stronger cleaning method such as bleach or nail polish remover, it’s a good idea to test on a small and inconspicuous area of the surface to be cleaned. If the surface is damaged, you need to find a milder cleaning method.
