Where do you hang your washcloths in your fancy shower??

  Comments (58)I bought three bunches of 14 thin white washcloths to use in the two bathrooms at Bed, Bath, Beyond. I think it was $10 for each bunch. I’m insistent on thorough washing of hands and arms after using the toilet so this provides one-time-use towels to use while avoiding adding paper towels to the bathroom. Additional laundry is not really a factor as they are thin and many will fit in a single washload, though they are mostly added to a regular washload. I really like this solution I came up with that suits my hygienic and eco standards. As for where they go? I have a pretty plastic trash can just for them but sometimes I drape them over the thing in the center of the washer to dry and then just flick them into the tub when doing a load….See More

  Where do you hang your cloth hand towels?

  Comments (36)Thanks, Charliekin. My kitchen photos don’t do justice to the backsplash. In real life, everyone just stops short and gapes! They’re glass tiles from AlysEdwards, custom made for me in Italy. They’re like stained glass, a milky white with grays and browns, no two pieces alike. I couldn’t have asked for anything more beautiful to go with my Carrara counters. I think you can appreciate them better in these next pix. I over-ordered and actually have an entire unused box of them that I keep meaning to list on CraigsList or someplace. There’s just no where else in the house to use them….See More

  where do you hang your calendar?

  Comments (14)My garage door is right outside the kitchen doorway and it’s metal. So my calendar hangs from a magnetic hook there. It’s not as convenient as it used to be but I’m getting used to it. I stick things inside my cabinets with tape all the time, too. Mostly frequently used recipes and kid’s lunch id numbers and things. But I have ADD and definitely need my calendar out and in my face! happyladi, which country store do you get your calendar from? Is it one of those dishtowel ones from The Vermont Country Store?   where do you buy your closet top hanging hardware

  Comments (7)You would probably have to use two segments. Are you talking about the Johnson door hanging hardware? You can cut a longer piece into a smaller piece and use this shorter rail on each side. You can shorten, but I am not certain that you can create a longer piece by joining. The two sides would operate independently of each other. Did you google the website for the hardware? If it is Johnson, they have a pretty good website for installation information. I thought that Johnson made an 8′ track. You can cut it down to what you need. Check out Amazon….See More
