Dynamic backlighting improves the contrast ratio of the image by controlling the light output of each cell independently . Manufacturers began to apply dynamic control to each backlight cluster in a cell to take the initiative to control the grain of the backlight better and better.

As such, the backlight can automatically adjust the LED brightness in each cell , providing more realistic processed images.
