In one of our articles, we touched on the fate of the young sorceress Keira Metz and mentioned that under certain circumstances, Geralt can count on physical intimacy with the girl.
But the task “A For the benefit of science” is not remarkable for the completion of these personal events, it is important for its influence on the final episodes of the main plot.
After a beautiful night that the sorceress and the Witcher spent in the quest “A Favor for a Friend”, Geralt wakes up alone with the realization that the feelings shown the day before by Keira may be nothing more than a game to achieve their own interests.
Knowing exactly where she was headed, Geralt prefers again to interfere in the plans of the Keira’s and sent once again to Fyke Isle.
Approaching the tower, Geralt will see Keira, who is no longer empty-handed. As the spook had suggested, the sorceress was only interested in the records of epidemics, which should serve her in achieving greatness.
The ensuing emotional dialogue will once again show how blind the Witcher was, trusting Keira’s seeming timidity.
“If anyone is going to believe the enchantress is stupid no one will measure”
This popular wisdom very accurately describes the state of the Witcher.
Therefore, Keira would tell Geralt that she planned to exchange the records with Radovid for her own Amnesty, which would end the persecution of the sorceress hunters.
The Witcher understands that Radovid is not the kind of person who will want to use the knowledge gained for the benefit of others by developing a cure.
Geralt realizes that if he lets Keira go to Radovid, nothing good will happen to the sorceress, or to the future of Alexander’s reports on Catriona’s plague.
The Witcher is faced with a crucial choice:
- «Kill Keira Metz» – the fight will not be long, but the main question is why? Would Geralt have done that?
Perhaps, this option is the most erroneous. Geralt would see Keira again, but he would see her dead. Her tormented body will be hanged as a warning to others. By doing so, he would condemn the sorceress to a Martyr’s death.
- «Ask her to go to Kaer Morhen»
In order to convince Keira enough to choose one of the following four sequences of dialogue:
- “What’s with the notes?”→” Radovid never forgets” → “It’s suicide” → “Go to Kaer Morhen “
- “What’s with the notes?”→” Radovid’s not interested in medication” → “Thousands may die. it’ll be on your head” → “Go to Kaer Morhen”
- “You used me” → “Jokes aside. What are you up to?”→”Radovid never forgets” → “It’s suicide” → ” Go to Kaer Morhen”
- “You used me” → “Jokes aside. What are you up to?”→” Radovid’s not interested in medication” → “Thousands may die. it’ll be on your head” → “Go to Kaer Morhen”
Whatever you choose from the four options presented, the result is one-Keira Metz will hear the arguments and pleas of Geralt and go to Kaer Morhen.
The sorceress will be one of the participants in the battle in which Vesemir falls, but thanks to her presence, Lambert will be saved. (Lambert, Lambert what a….)
They will find their happiness in each other, leave the world they hate, and Keira will be known as the Savior of the North from Catriona.
