The Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals face off Sunday night at SoFi Stadium in NFL Super Bowl LVI to determine which team takes the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ crown.

4TH QTR – 1:25 – Bengals 20-23 Rams – Stafford finds Kupp in the end zone to regain Rams lead
On the 15th play of the drive, after Matthew Stafford couldn’t finish a QB sneak, he found Cooper Kupp in the end zone to regain the lead for LA.
4TH QTR – 1:29 – Multiple flags extend Rams drive in red zone
On 1st & GOAL, Matthew Stafford overthrew Van Jefferson in the end zone. On the 14th play of the drive, a 3rd & GOAL situation following an incomplete pass by Stafford, the Rams QB couldn’t find Cooper Kupp, but a holding penalty on the Bengals defense gave LA an automatic first down.
Stafford then threw a pass to the end zone, which Cooper Kupp caught but the TD got erased due to a holding penalty. On a new 1st & Goal for Stafford, a pass interference gave the Rams a new first down.
4TH QTR – 1:55 – Matthew Stafford, Rams in the red zone at 2-min warning
Brycen Hopkins gained 9 yards on a pass from Matthew Stafford, who then threw an incompletion. On 3rd & 1, Cam Akers couldn’t pick up the first down, but Sean McVay decided to go for it from his own 30-yard line.
Cooper Kupp rushed for the first down and more to extend the drive. On 2nd & 10, after an incomplete pass, Stafford found Kupp again to set up 3rd & 2.
Stafford completed another pass for the first down to reach the Bengals territory. Kupp then made a couple of huge catches to gain 30 yards and get within striking distance of the end zone.
4TH QTR – 6:20 – Tyler Boyd drops pass on 3rd & 9
Joe Mixon quickly picked up a first down on the ground and came three yards shy of another the very next play. Bengals kept it on the ground to set up 3rd & 2.
Burrow got a first down completion with a short pass to Chris Evans. On 3rd & 9, after a couple failed running plays by Mixon, Tyler Boyd dropped a pass from Burrow to force the punt team back on the field.
4TH QTR – 10:06 – Three-and-out for Matthew Stafford
Van Jefferson picked up seven yards after catching a short pass from Matthew Stafford. Sony Michel lost two yards after a failed running play and on 3rd & 4, Stafford overthrew Ben Skowronek for a quick three-and-out.
4TH QTR – 11:40 – Von Miller sacks Joe Burrow again
Tyler Boyd caught a pass from Joe Burrow to pick up a first down right away. Joe Mixon was unable to move the chains with a rush, setting up a 2nd & 9 on the Bengals’ 34-yard line.
On 3rd & 9, after an incomplete pass, Burrow got sacked by Von Miller and the Bengals quarterback limped off the field. Bengals punted on 4th & 29.
4TH QTR – 14:05 – Rams forced to punt as Cam Akers can’t get going
On 2nd & 5, Cam Akers again failed to pick up any significant yardage with the run game. Stafford threw an incomplete pass on 3rd & 7 to bring the punt team back on the field.

The Rams defense has stepped up in the third quarter after an ugly start to the second half. Stafford has the opportunity to finish a drive with a TD to regain the lead for Rams.

Joe Burrow got sacked for the fifth time this game to set up 2nd & 12. Von Miller made it a half dozen the very next play, dropping Burrow near his own end zone to set up 3rd & 22. Bengals punted and Stafford will start at the 50-yard line.
3RD QTR – 2:47 – Stafford limps off after sack
Matthew Stafford started the drive with a pass to Van Jefferson for no gain. Bengals’ Chidobe Awuzie went out with injury and got replaced by Tre Flowers.
Stafford completed a pass to Cam Akers to set up 3rd & 7 at the 50-yard line. Dj Reader sacked Stafford, who limped off the field, to force the Rams punt team on the field.
3RD QTR – 4:28 – Burrow sacked again, Bengals punt
On 2nd & 6, after Mixon rushed for a 4-yard gain, Joe Burrow got sacked by Ernest Jones. On 3rd & 13, Ja’Marr Chase had a rare drop to force the punter on the field.
3RD QTR – 5:58 – Bengals 20-16 Rams – Trick play gone wrong leads to Matt Gay FG
Akers rushed for two yards before a couple of incompetions by Matthew Stafford, who is missing Odell Beckham Jr. (left in the first half with a knee injury). On 3rd & 8, Stafford completed a pass to Darrell Henderson for the first down.
Henderson then rushed for no gain before Stafford found Cooper Kupp for another first down. Brycen Hopkins picked up another first down after a great catch and Ben Skowronek’s catch set up a 2nd & 3.
The Bengals defense is doing a great job stopping the run, holding Cam Akers to 10 yards on 9 carries. On 3rd & 5, a little trickery saw Cooper Kupp overthrow Stafford and force the field goal unit on the field to settle for three points on a Matt Gay field goal make from 41 yards out.
3RD QTR – 10:15 – Bengals 20-13 Rams – Evan McPherson extends Bengals lead with 38-yard FG
On 4th & 1, Joe Burrow picked up a first down on the ground, but failed to extend the drive after Aaron Donald got his second sack of the night. Evan McPherson drilled a 38-yard field goal to extend the Bengals lead.
3RD QTR – 14:38 – Stafford throws INT
Less than 30 seconds into the second half, Bengals already have a TD and an interception. Stafford threw a pass that got tipped and picked off by Chidobe Awuzie.

2ND QTR – 2:00 – Stafford picked off in the end zone
Matthew Stafford found tight end Brycen Hopkins for a first down. Stafford has 156 yards on 11-of-13 completions, plus two TD passes. A false start penalty pushed Stafford back to 1st & 15. On 3rd & 14, Stafford threw an interception in the end zone to Jessie Bates III.
2ND QTR – 3:50 – OBJ goes down with injury
Van Jefferson picked up a first down on a pass from Matthew Stafford. On 2nd & 9, OBJ dropped a pass and was slow to get up, clutching at his left knee. He limped off the field and went inside the medical tent.
2ND QTR – 5:47 – Bengals 10-13 Rams – Joe Mixon throws TD pass to Tee Higgins
Joe Burrow started the drive with a couple of completions, the second to Ja’Marr Chase for a first down. Joe Mixon moved the chains to pick up another first down with a 14-yard rush and entered Rams territory.
After two bad plays for the Bengals, Burrow completed a pass to Tee Higgins on 3rd & 6, picking up the first down inside the red zone. On 3rd & 2, the 10th play of the drive, Ja’Marr Chase picked up the first down to set up 1st & GOAL at the 7-yard line.
On a trick play, Joe Mixon threw a touchdown pass to Tee Higgins to inch Bengals closer on the scoreboard. evan McPherson drilled the extra point to make it a 3-point game.
2ND QTR – 12:51 – Bengals 3-13 Rams – Cooper Kupp extends Rams lead with TD catch
On 3rd & 11, Odell Beckham Jr. caught a pass from Matthew Stafford to pick up a first down and then some. OBJ has 52 yards on two catches.
Stafford completed a pass to RB Darrell Henderson for another first down before the running back got a couple of yards on the ground. On 2nd & 4 and in the red zone, Stafford threw his second TD pass of the day, this time to Cooper Kupp. Matt Gay couldn’t make the extra point due to his holder losing control of the ball.
END OF 1ST QTR – Bengals 3-7 Rams
The first quarter provided plenty of action, starting with a turnover on downs for Joe Burrow and the Bengals, who failed to get a first down when going for it on 4th & 1. That set up Matthew Stafford in the middle of the field and he eventually found OBJ in the end zone to open the score and celebrate like Michael Jackson.
Ja’Marr Chase caught a bomb from Joe Burrow to get in the red zone, but Bengals couldn’t take advantage of the field position. They had to settle for a field goal by Evan McPherson.

From the 28-yard line, Matthew Stafford found Ben Skowronek for a 5-yard gain. A delay of game penalty pushed Stafford back five yards to set up 2nd & 10.
Sony Michel couldn’t do much on his first carry, getting just three yards. Rams sent the punt team back in after Van Jefferson caught a ball just three yards shy of a first down.
