Skin Safe Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover
I think we can all agree that our kids’ skin gets messy at times. It’s unavoidable. A little sticker leave adhesive on your child’s skin? What about a grungy temporary tattoo half coming off, or slime in hair? With Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover to save the day, sticky messes have met their match, friends! Gone are the days of worrying about removing those pesky adhesives when your toddler covers their bodies in stickers. Or when kids play with slime, and it’s literally everywhere? Parents, rejoice! This is the answer!
Remove Slime with Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover
Whether it’s slime with or without borax, or one made natural ingredients, slime makes a heck of a mess! And now, I have another tool in my cleaning arsenal, and I couldn’t be happier! This variety of Goo Gone is a safe, easy, and painless way to remove tape and adhesives from skin and hair! For sticky slime on skin, simply soak a cotton ball with Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover, let it sit on the slimy area for about a minute, then start wiping! For slime in hair, use the soaked cotton ball to help wipe away the slime on a few strands at a time. Easy peasy!
Remove Sticky Bandage Residue with Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover
A few months ago my youngest son comes home from school with a bandage on his belly from getting a scrape while playing at recess. The nurse cleaned up his scratch, applied a “waterproof” bandage, which definitely remained after he showered… and lasted for two more days before we took it off! That bandage was stuck and then-some! By that time, the residue from the adhesive was horrifically stuck to his skin! We didn’t have Goo Gone Bandage and Adhesive Remover at that time, so we had to soak, scrub, and more to get it off! I feared reinjuring him in the process, my poor dude’s skin suffered quite a bit trying to get that off! Man, was I ever glad to have Goo Gone when this exact same thing happened to my daughter’s foot!
Check this out, her bandage was only on for a day yet look at all that leftover residue it left on her skin in such a short time! With her boo-boo healing but still needing to be covered, this leftover adhesive had to be removed before we reapplied another one. Goo Gone to the rescueeee!
The directions on the bottle state to saturate a cotton ball, cotton swab, or gauze with Goo Gone Bandage and Adhesive Remover. Since we didn’t have either, we used a paper towel and poured it generously with a little partner help from my sticky kiddo!
After your paper towel is moistened, cotton swab, gauze, or cotton ball, you apply the paper towel to the area that’s sticky. You can absolutely apply this if the bandage is still on their skin, too!
TIP: Take the “ouch” out of bandage and tape removal by using Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover!
In no time at all with Goo Gone applied did we see the adhesive literally falling off her skin, sliding onto the paper towel with little-to-no effort at all! Like magic! We proceeded to do it all over the area where her foot was bandaged, and it was gone in less than a minute!
Oh, and after removing the residue from my daughter’s bandage, guess what I found? She flicked her bandageonto the floor where it got stuck! I grabbed the original Goo Gone and went to work! It’s application is the same!
Remove Temporary Tattoos with Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover
My son’s temporary tattoo was a few days old and it looked awful with playing and daily showers. In the past, he’d scrub in the shower and still have pieces stuck on that I’d have to scrape off his skin.
With a bit of Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover on a paper towel once again, we applied it to his tattoo much in the same way we applied it – by laying it on the area and waiting a few moments for it to absorb.
Almost instantaneously, the adhesive remover went to work. Not but a few seconds after we applied it, just moving the paper towel to check on it, we saw this! The tattoo was effortlessly beginning to wipe away!
We reapplied the paper towel and had the temporary tattoo off his skin in less than a minute!
Remove Face Paint with Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover
Parents, this adhesive remover is not only good with stickers and sticker-type stuff, but also glitter, wax, marker, pen, and paint! My daughter’s face got painted and the last time this happened, the face paint dyed her skin and we aggravated her cheek removing it. So glad that we have Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover, it made this face paint cleanup easy-peasy!
We applied it in exactly the same way as we did with the other situations. Fear not, friends – this skin-safe adhesive remover is alcohol-free and sting free. Safe for skin of all kinds, including the face! We gently applied the paper towel to her face while she watched her favorite show.
Look at it go to work almost immediately! The face paint was coming off onto the paper towel!
This particular sticky mess required a little extra (yet gentle) effort, and bam! Here she is, good as new! She could NOT stop raving about how “delicious” and “delightful” this Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover smelled. She couldn’t stop sniffing it, in fact! Proudly clutching the bottle as she inhaled, she kept smiling, quite grateful I was able to get it off her cheek without hurting her.
Friend, are you ready to see these before and afters side-by-side? These before and after images in each case were taken a mere moments apart, too! Can you believe it? These results speak for themselves!
Isn’t that amazing? Now, go out and get yourself your own bottle or two (you know you’ll need ’em)! Goo Gone Bandage & Adhesive Remover is available at Amazon and GooGone.com!
Sharing is caring, and I believe every parent needs this tool in their clean-up arsenal! Save this post for later, too!
