Copy the router’s IP address. Swipe down until you see the router’s IP address. A router’s IP address is usually a 4-part number, with 1-3 digits in each part and separated by a period. For example, you will see a number like 123.456.1.1.

Follow the request on the router’s website to rename the network. Depending on your carrier and router manufacturer, you’ll see different information after you sign in. If you don’t immediately see an option to rename your WiFi network, look for a link or tab named Wireless , Modify your Wi -Fi settings, or something similar.
