You connect your brand new AirPods to your iPhone or iPad and boom, your AirPods are now called ‘[Your Name]’s AirPods.’ Nothing funky here. Tutorial

Step 1. Connect your AirPods or AirPods Pro to your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2. Launch the Settings app.

Step 3. Tap on Bluetooth.

Step 4. Now tap on the ‘i’ icon next to your AirPods.

Step 5. Under the Name section, tap on your AirPods’ name.

Step 6. Change the name to anything you like and then tap on Done.

Of course, you can get absolutely creative in this arena by coming up with witty names or reviving an old meme of sorts. It’s entirely up to you and once you tap on that Done button the changes will be synced across your devices too, which is extremely nice.

A lot of people might dismiss this tutorial as something which they don’t need, and I agree with your thought.
