In 2009 Mark Wahlberg purchased six acres of land for $8m in the exclusive Los Angeles neighborhood of Beverly Park.
Five years later and the 30,000 square foot French Manor appears be be done.
New aerial photos offer a look at the 43-year-old’s two-story palatial palace, which includes a full-sized basketball court, putting green, guest house, swimming pool with a water slide, a three-car garage and a large motor court.

Inside there is a large-scale gym, wine cellar, home cinema and two-story library.
Mark and his wife Rhea Durham need a lot of room as they are parents to four children – Ella Rae, aged nine, Michael, aged seven, Brendan, aged four, and Grace, aged three.

Landry also designed homes for Haim Saban, Wayne Gretzky, Sugar Ray Leonard and Rod Stewart.
‘My goal always has to go with finding the right proportions. It is not about building bigger and bigger homes,’ Richard said in the November 1 issue of The Hollywood Reporter.
‘There are no ginormous rooms here – there’s no ballroom, no bowling alley, no indoor basketball court. I’ve done most of those kinds of things in other projects, but here it’s really a good traditional family house with no craziness to it.’
Meanwhile, Mark has been hard at work filming the sequel to comedy Ted, with actress Amanda Seyfried.
The actor-producer will next be seen in The Gambler, due out in May.
Starring opposite Brie Larson, Jessica Lange, and John Goodman in the crime thriller, Wahlberg plays a professor whose gambling problem gets him into trouble with a group of dangerous gangsters.
