Jhene Aiko and producer Dot Da Genius may be headed for divorce. While neither party has confirmed the marriage on the record, TMZ reports that the singer has filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
Rumors of the pair’s nuptials surfaced when Dot (born Oladipo Omishore) sent birthday wishes to his “gorgeous wife” on Instagram in March. “Happy to be on this quest w/ you!!!,” he added in the since-deleted social media post. Dot also shared a photo in December 2014, in which the couple sported matching bands on their left ring fingers.

Reports of the divorce come after Aiko and rapper Big Sean recently shared a kiss onstage at a show in Anaheim. Earlier this year, the longtime collaborators formed the tandem Twenty88 and released a joint self-titled album via Def Jam in April. The eight-track set, which carried a 15-minute short film that premiered on Tidal, debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
A Flaunt magazine feature on the duo in March also stated: “Chemistry aside, they both insist that they’re single and just enjoying each other’s company.”
