Open Command Prompt. You can open Command Prompt by pressing ⊞ Win + R and typing cmd . Windows 8 and 10 users can also press ⊞ Win + X and select Command Prompt from within the menu.

  • To watch ASCII Star Wars movies, the computer needs an Internet connection.

Install Telnet. Except for Windows Vista, 7 and 8, most new versions of Windows no longer support Telnet – the client needed to connect to ASCII Star Wars movies. You may need to use Command Prompt with administrator privileges to install Telnet.

  • Type pkgmgr /iu:"TelnetClient" and press ↵ Enter .
  • On Windows 10, open Contrp Panel > Programs > Turn Windows features on or off . Then, you tick Telnet Client , click OK and wait for the installation process to complete.
  • If required, you will need to enter the administrator password or confirm the action (if you already have admin rights).
