Open the Excel document. Double-click the Excel document you want to open.
Find hidden lines. You will see the line number displayed to the left of the text while dragging the scroll bar down; if you see a number that is not visible (for example, right after line 23 is line 25 ), then the line between these two numbers is hidden (in the example lines 23 and 25 , line 24 is hidden) . Right click in the space between the two lines. This will open a menu.

  • For example, if line 24 was hidden, you would click in the space between 23 and 25 .
  • On a Mac, you can press the Contrp key while clicking this empty space to open the menu.

Click Unhide . This is an option in the currently displayed menu. This makes the hidden line reappear.

  • You can save your changes by pressing Ctrl + S (on Windows) or ⌘ Command + S (on Mac).
Unhide multiple contiguous lines. If you notice a lot of lines are hidden, unhide them all with the following:
