Rosacea is a common skin disease that causes redness and swelling in the face and often produces small, red bumps that contain pus. The disease is most common in middle-aged women with pale skin. If left untreated, rosacea can get worse over time. Symptoms can flare up over a period of weeks or even months. After that, symptoms will gradually subside before flare up again. Rosacea is easily confused with acne, allergic reactions, or other skin problems. Although it can occur at the same time, rosacea is different from acne. Apply a mixture of herbs and oils to your skin. Most herbal ingredients used to treat rosacea have anti-inflammatory properties, including lavender, chamomile, ginger, basil, cinnamon, garlic, and turmeric. You can use dried herbs or essential oils to combine with oil-based cleansers.
