Observe for signs of fungal infection. Cats can have a stuffy nose from a fungal infection, with Cryptococcus being the most common. Make sure the cat does not have a foreign object stuck in its nose. It is not uncommon for cats to get stuck in their nasal passages with objects such as nuts, leaves, or gravel.
