Dry skin can lead to skin lesions, making it more sensitive and red spots. The ideal cleanser should be strong enough to clean the skin, but not so strong that it causes flaking and damage. Choose the “type” of facial soap that is right for you. There are many types of facial soap. Don’t buy soaps that contain harmful ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate and alcohol. These two ingredients are often too strong for people’s skin.
