How to Soften Slime

Use basic methods to soften slime

Remember that water can make or break slime. Remember to only add a little water if you don’t want the slime to wobble.

Add a little hand sanitizer. Another way to soften slime is to add a drop or two of hand sanitizer. You can choose any brand. Put the slime in a bowl and add hand sanitizer. Soften slime with lotion (moisturizer). Moisturizing lotion keeps your skin soft and does the same for slime. Let check it out! Just add a tablespoon or two of lotion to the bowl (equivalent to 4 or 5 sprays if you’re getting the product from the spray nozzle). Add some water and stir both ingredients well. Now comes the most interesting part. Place the slime in a bowl and press into the mixture. Remember to use glue like the one found in slimes. For example, don’t add milk glue to transparent slimes.

Soften slime with heat

Soak the slime in warm water. Pour some warm water into the bowl and place the slime in it. You can use your hands to rotate the slime in the water. Leave the slime in the water for about a minute. Heat the slime in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Remove the slime from the water and squeeze. You need to make the slime dry. Place the slime in a microwaveable bowl and place it in the oven to heat for about 10 seconds, then remove the slime from the microwave and wait for about a minute for the slime to cool down. Add some moisturizing lotion to soften the slime. Use a tablespoon or two of lotion. Lotion of any brand will do. If you use a scented moisturizer, the slime will smell that way too.
