Open Google Chrome Android 7 Chrome

Click the profile picture in the upper right corner of Chrome. A menu will expand.

  • If you haven’t selected a profile picture, a temporary profile picture will be displayed here. The icon image will be different.

Click Sync is on . This is the first option located below the profile picture in the account menu that appears. This option is next to the two green spinning arrows. The Google Chrome Settings menu will appear.

Click Turn off . This is the first option at the top of the Google Chrome Settings menu, to the right of the profile icon. The warning window will pop up.

Click Turn off to turn off sync and sign out of your Google account on Google Chrome. Now at the profile picture location, you will see a random profile picture in the upper right corner of Google Chrome.

Click Continue in the lower right corner of the pop-up message. You will sign out of Google Chrome on your Android device.

  • Or you can click the check box next to “Also clear your Chrome data from this device” to clear your history, settings, passwords and extensions from your Android phone or tablet.
  • If you want to sign back in to Google Chrome, tap the three-dot icon, then select Settings . Tap Continue as [your username] or Choose another account and tap another account, or select Add account and sign in with the other Google account’s email address and password. Finally, click Yes, I’m in in the lower right corner.
