Your browser’s homepage is the first web page that appears when you start your browser. Most browsers allow you to set the homepage yourself. Some browsers, including Chrome, have the ability to open multiple tabs on startup. Mobile browsers like Safari do not allow setting the homepage, but we still find a workaround.

Select the “On startup” item. There are several options available that allow you to customize Chrome’s startup.

  • Open the New Tab page . The action allows to display the Google search bar and select the websites you visit most often.

Add the website you want to open. In the General tab, enter the website address you want to set as the homepage. You can open multiple pages by writing the name of each page on each line. Each page will be opened in separate tabs.

  • Internet Explorer 6 does not support opening multiple tabs, so you can only set a single home page.
  • You can set the web page you are visiting as your homepage by pressing Use current .

  • Show my homepage . This option allows to open the request home page. You can set it up in the “Home Page” field.
  • Show a blank page . Opens an Empty tab when starting Firefox.
  • Show my windows and tabs from last time This option allows to show open windows and tabs when you previously turned off Firefox.

  • Home Page . This option allows to open the desired homepage when starting Safari. You can set up a home page in the “Home page” field.

Go to the page you want to set as the homepage. There is no way to set a traditional homepage on Safari because the browser always reloads the page of the last visit. Instead, you’ll create a shortcut to the desired home page on your iOS device’s desktop.
