Steps
On Discord
- Sign in if prompted.
- If you’re using the mobile app, a list of icons will appear. Tap the third icon on the left. This option has a folded piece of paper in the corner. A list of all files will appear, including videos.
- On the app, tap the blue paper airplane icon located above the file selection window.
- Files (up to 8MB in size, or 50MB if you’ve upgraded) will be uploaded to the chat. Most video formats like .mov and .mp4 are accepted.
On Youtube
- You can also use the YouTube mobile app located on the home screen or app drawer. If you don’t have YouTube installed on your device, you can download it for free from the App Store and Google Play Store.
- You can apply this method to upload videos larger than 8MB, then share the link to the video in Discord.
- If you’re using the mobile app, this icon will also be in the upper right corner of the app.
