Leave gaps in your schedule. Keep spaces at the bottom of your calendar for lower-priority tasks or work that comes up later in the week. If you have time today or sometime during the week, you can plan to do such things to prepare in advance. These additional tasks may include cleaning out the storage space or reorganizing the home tax return system. These are low-priority tasks that you’ll also have to complete but don’t rush or have a specific deadline.

Stick to the Work Schedule
