Point the camera at the QR code. Your phone will focus on the QR code in a moment.

  • If the front camera is open, you need to tap the camera icon in the lower right corner of the screen to switch to the rear camera.

Make sure that the QR code is displayed in the center of the iPhone screen. The four sides of the QR code should be on the phone screen.

Wait for the code scan. Once the QR code is in the center of the screen, it will be scanned immediately.

Open the content of the QR code. Tap the Safari notification that appears at the top of the screen to open the web page of the QR code or other information.

Point the camera at the QR code. Your phone will focus on the QR code in a moment.

Make sure that the QR code is displayed in the center of the phone screen. The QR code should fit in the 4 brackets on the Android screen.

Point your computer’s webcam towards the QR code. The QR code should be in the center of the screen.

Wait for the code scan. After the QR code is scanned into the app, the content of the code will appear in the middle of the pop-up window.

  • For example, if the QR code contains a link to a website, you’ll see the link show up in a pop-up window.
  • You can click Other in the pop-up window and then click the globe icon at the bottom right of the next window to open the contents of the QR code in a web browser.

On Mac

Open a web browser. Mac computers don’t have a built-in way to scan QR codes, nor are there apps available to do so. If you want to scan a QR code, you need to use an online QR code scanner.
