Open or create a Photoshop file. To proceed, double-click the blue application icon with the word ” Ps ,” click File in the top menu bar, then:

  • Click Open… to open an existing document; or
  • Click New… (New…) to create a new document

Click a layer. In the “Layers” menu in the lower-right corner of the screen, click the layer containing the object you want to rotate.

  • If you can’t find the “Layers” menu, click Windows in the menu bar at the top of your screen, then click Layers . The “Layers” options menu will appear in the lower right corner of the Photoshop window.

Click Quick Select Top. The tool has a brush icon next to the dashed line, located near the top of the topbar on the left side of the window.

  • If Quick Select Top is not found, long-click Magic Wand Top to open a menu containing Quick Select Top.

Select object. Use Quick Select Top to highlight the image to rotate.

  • If you want to rotate the whole layer then no need to select.
