How to Remove Samsung Pay App

This wikiHow teaches you how to remove or disable the Samsung Pay app on your Samsung Galaxy smartphone. While it’s not possible to delete the Samsung Pay app without rooting (or jailbreaking) your Android phone, you can eliminate the hassle by removing the shortcut icon, denying the setup, or moving the app to a hidden folder. Remove Samsung Pay on Rooted Android

Root your Android phone if necessary. Since a pure Android installation doesn’t allow Samsung Pay to be removed, you’ll need to root your phone if you want to remove the app.

Open Titanium Backup. Tap OPEN on the Google Play Store to open the app.

Minimize the impact of Samsung Pay

Remove all Samsung Pay shortcut icons. If you have set up Samsung Pay, you can remove shortcuts (for example, icons on the Home screen) by:

Open Samsung Pay. If you haven’t set up Samsung Pay, you can remove app icons from your Home screen by refusing to complete the setup process.

Most manufacturer-installed Samsung apps can be re-downloaded from the Play Store whenever you want.
The DISABLE option is only visible to the apps that came with the phone and cannot be uninstalled in the usual way.
There are many apps that have the ability to “hide” pre-installed apps. These applications often have the same feature as the hidden folder on the App Drawer.

Warning

Exercise caution when deleting apps with Titanium Backup. Some features or the interaction of apps may be affected when system apps are deleted. Furthermore, important system applications and processes will be listed along with other information in the Titanium backup. These contents may affect system functionality when deleted.
