Mixed Vegetables Beets

  • 1 beetroot, grilled and peeled
  • 1 avocado, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup sliced pilgrimage
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper
  • Vegetables for salads

Beets Topped with Baked Sauce

  • 1 beetroot, boiled and peeled
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup grated Gruyere cheese
  • 1 clove minced garlic
  • Salt and pepper

Beetroot Processing Methods

Bake beets. Baking is a great way to bring out the deliciousness and preserve the nutrients in beets. Grilled beets are also delicious when eaten raw or added to salads.

  • Scrape off the dirt on the outside of the beetroot.
  • Use a sharp knife to cut off the green stem on the top of the tuber.
  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees Celsius.
  • Apply piu oil and sprinkle pepper and salt on the beets.
  • Place foil on a baking tray and place the beets in it. Then, cover it with another piece of foil.
  • Place the tray in the oven and bake for at least 1 hour. Use a fork to pierce the stem to check if the beets are cooked. If you are unsure, continue to bake until the tubers are tender.
  • Remove the beets from the oven and let cool.
  • When the beets have cooled, peel off the outer skin. Enjoy immediately or use roasted beets for other recipes.

Boil beetroot. Boiling will give the beets a soft and moist texture.

  • Cut off the leaves on top of the beetroot and leave about 5cm of the stem. This step will help the beets not release red juice when boiled

Recipe of Beetroot Topped with Baked Sauce

Boil and peel the beets according to the instructions above. Cut the beetroot into thin slices (about 5 mm).
Preheat oven to 300 degrees Celsius.
Brush the piu oil on the baking dish. Arrange sliced beets on a baking dish and stack if necessary. If beets are too much, you can layer them.
Beat eggs, milk, garlic, Gruyere cheese, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
Pour the mixture over the beets in the baking dish.
Place the plate in the oven and bake for about 35 minutes or until the sauce is browned and bubbly.
Let the beets cool for about 10 minutes before enjoying.
