Steps

Traditional wine flavored jelly

Prepare materials. To make about 32 30ml jelly cups, you will need:

  • 1 pack of jelly powder 170g
  • About 3 cups of water
  • About 1 cup of cold wine of your choice
Stir the water and wine into 2 cups. The percentage will depend on the alcohol content of the wine you use. Use the following ratio so that the wine jelly can solidify:

  • 390ml of alcohol has a strength of 30 to 50 (about 20%) with 90ml of water.
  • 300ml of alcohol has a strength of 80 to 100 (about 45%) with 180ml of water.
  • 180ml of 150 to 200 strength alcohol with 300ml of water.
Put the mixture in the refrigerator. Wait until the mixture is completely chilled before moving on to the next step. This is important because the alcohol’s evaporation point (boiling point) is about 79°C. Since you will then stir the wine with 100°C boiling water if the wine is not cold it will exceed the boiling point when stirred in the water and some of the alcohol will evaporate. This way, the jelly will not have a strong wine taste.
Boil about 1 cup of water. You need exactly 1 cup of boiling water, so add a little more water to the pot or kettle as it boils because some of the water will evaporate.
Measure out 1 cup of boiling water and stir in the jelly powder. Stir until powder is completely dissolved.
Stir in the chilled water and wine mixture.
Spray a little more non-stick product on the inside of the cup to easily remove the jelly when finished. Adding a small spoon or ice cream stick will also work.
Pour the mixture into the cup.
Place the jelly in a tray and place it in the refrigerator (not the freezer). Refrigerate until the jelly solidifies (it takes about 2 to 4 hours). Keep the jelly in the refrigerator until ready to eat and should be eaten when cold.

Orange-shaped wine jelly

Pour jelly over oranges for a fun and unique presentation. Remember to remove the orange peel carefully so that the orange peel does not stick to the jelly.

Cut the oranges in half.
Use a spoon to remove all the orange segments, leaving only the rind of half an orange.
Pour the jelly mixture into the orange peel.
Refrigerate the jelly orange peels throughout the night. Although the jelly will solidify after a few hours, adding more chilling time will make the jelly firmer and won’t break when you cut it.
Cut the orange halves into thirds. You can check out the instructions for making liqueur in oranges for details.

Liquor flavored jelly

Making layered wine flavored jelly will allow you to combine different colors and flavors. For multiple layers of color in a row, you should only chill each layer for 10 minutes before adding another.

Get 3 packs of jelly powder with 3 different colors.
With 1 pack of jelly, you will reduce the ingredients in the above recipe by half.
Pour the first layer of jelly into 1/3 cup.
Wait for the jelly to freeze.
Do the same for the second layer. Pour the second jelly into the cup that already has the first layer. This is the second color layer. Now the jelly is 2/3 full.
Wait for the second layer to freeze.
Add the remaining jelly to fill the cup. This will be the third color layer.
Wait for 3 layers of jelly to completely freeze before enjoying.

Green wine flavored jelly

For green, you can use food coloring. When using unflavored gelatin, you get clear jelly to add any color you like.

Make regular wine flavored jelly with yellow jelly powder.
Before pouring the jelly into the cup, add green and/or blue to make the jelly green. You can make as many jellies with the green tones you want.
Enjoy. This jelly is suitable for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day or Earth Day.

Make a rich wine-flavored jelly (with Vodka)

This is a very heavy alcoholic jelly with 22ml or 45ml of vodka in each cup. Therefore, you should eat consciously.

Made with 1 pack of 85g jelly powder. Both lemon and orange flavors are fine as they taste similar to drinks mixed with vodka. Using a cherry flavor will remind you of cough syrup. Do not use blueberry and grape flavors.
Stir the flour into ½ cup of boiling water. Don’t rush at this step, the water needs to be really boiling to dissolve the powder and the mixture won’t thicken if you use less than ½ cup of water.
Stir the mixture until the powder is completely dissolved.
Add 1-3/4 cup 80-strength vodka to the mixture. You can add 2-1/4 cup 80 strength vodka because the jelly is still frozen. However, if it is more than 1-3/4 cup, the jelly will be soft and the wine will be too strong.
Pour the mixture into the cup. If you use 1-3/4 cups of vodka, you will have 18 cups of 30ml jelly or 9 cups of 60ml jelly.

Jellobah flavored with alcohol

Add 1 pack of Jellobah flavored jelly powder to 200ml of water. Stir until powder is dissolved.
Add 200ml of your favorite wine or 100ml of wine and 100ml of other drink mixes.
Pour the mixture into a drinking glass.
Wait 5 to 10 minutes.
So you’ve got instant wine-flavored jelly. No need to freeze. Just enjoy.

Wine-themed jelly

Make classic cocktail jelly. This is a great way to refresh your favorite drink.
Make wine-flavored jelly with a festive flavor. If you want to organize a festive party, you can mix a little festive wine to add to the atmosphere.
Make an oven-free dessert with wine-flavored jelly. Sometimes, you don’t have much time to bake a muffin or batch of cookies. However, you can still keep the flavor of your favorite dessert without the need for an oven by making a wine-inspired jelly.
Show team spirit with wine-flavored jelly to support the home team. This jelly will increase the spirit when drinking beer while watching the home team play.
  • Make wine-flavored jelly combined with fruit. This type of jelly can only have a fruity flavor or have fruit inside, which is very suitable for dispelling the heat of summer.
  • Advice

    • To make hard jelly, you can add 1 packet of unflavored gelatin to the mixture before stirring with boiling water. Odorless gelatin will make the jelly hard, which is very effective when you pour it into the mold.
    • You can use glass wine mugs, 30-90ml plastic cups, or squeeze cups specifically for liqueurs. Although the glass cup looks nice and lets you see the color of the jelly clearly, the paper cup will make it easier to eat the jelly because you can push the cup out. Otherwise, you’ll need to bring a dessert spoon to the party.

    Warning

    • Don’t let your child mistake this for a regular jelly.
    • Although alcoholic jellies taste like candy, they all have the same or higher alcohol content as beer, wine or shot. Tell your guests to wait a few minutes before eating again and count the amount so they don’t overeat.
    • Jelly is not a vegetarian dessert. Gelatin is a protein produced by partial hydrolysis of cplagen extracted from the bones, connective tissues, organs and intestines of animals. If your guests are vegetarian or vegan, choose vegan jelly instead of gelatin. Most supermarkets have this product.
    • Children will feel uncomfortable when eating jelly containing alcohol and will be drunk.
