Add strawberry. You can use fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries. If you’re using frozen strawberries, you won’t need as much ice. If using fresh strawberries, be sure to wash and remove the stalks (the green leaves at the top of the strawberries) before you put them in the blender.
Add yogurt. Plain yogurt will add fat to smoothies and accentuate rather than overwhelm the flavor of the strawberries. You can add cream and/or strawberry juice if you like.
Add ice cubes. Adding ice cubes after adding strawberries to the blender will help the blade grind more efficiently. If using frozen strawberries, you can reduce the amount of ice to ½ cup. Since the strawberries are frozen, your smoothie will be chilled and have the consistency of ice.
Give blender about 5 seconds, stop and continue blending. Repeat until ingredients are evenly blended. You may need a spatula to stir the smoothie while blending to make sure the strawberries and ice don’t get stuck.

  • Listen to the sound of the blender. If the blender makes a loud sound, you should continue to grind until the sound is quiet. Use a spoon to stir one last time to make sure the smoothie is well blended.
  • If your smoothie is still very thick after blending, you can add ice until your smoothie has the texture you want.

Add milk to the mixture. Add milk last so that the orange juice and milk don’t combine directly, resulting in lumps.

  • You can use nonfat milk, 2% milk, or use whole milk to add fat to your smoothie.
Blend until smooth. Pour smoothie into cold cups if you want or divide into small cups. Finally put the straw into the smoothie cup and enjoy.

Strawberry and black raspberry smoothie

Pour orange juice into blender. If you like, you can use orange juice without the cloves or use one with shrimp to add more consistency to the smoothie. Orange juice will add a sour taste to smoothies, contrasting with the sweetness of strawberries and blackberries.

Add strawberries and blackberries. You can use fresh or frozen strawberries and blackberries. If using fresh fruit, be sure to wash and remove the stem (the green leaf on top of the strawberry) before you put it in the blender.
Add ice cubes. Adding ice cubes after adding fruit to the blender will help the blade grind more efficiently.

  • If using frozen fruit, you can reduce the amount of ice to ½ cup. If the strawberries and blackberries have been frozen, it will make your smoothie cold and have an ice-like consistency.
Add yogurt if desired (optional). Plain yogurt will create a sour taste and add fat to your smoothie.
Give blender about 5 seconds, stop and continue blending. Repeat until ingredients are evenly blended. You may need a spatula to stir the smoothie while blending to make sure the strawberries and blackberries or ice don’t get stuck.

Enjoy the smoothie. Pour smoothie into cooled cups or divide into small cups. Finally, add the straw to the cup.

Strawberry honey smoothie

Pour 1 cup of plain yogurt (use 2 cups if you’re feeling thirsty) into the blender. Yogurt will add fat and form the base flavor of a strawberry smoothie. You can use fat-free, low-fat yogurt or plain yogurt.

Add honey to taste. First you will add about 1 tablespoon of honey and then blend well. Try smoothies and add honey if you want more sweetness.

  • Avoid giving too much honey in the first place. Your smoothie will quickly taste sweet and adding too much honey can ruin the smoothie.
Enjoy smoothies. Pour smoothie into frozen tall mugs or divide into small cups. Put the straw in the cup and enjoy!

  • Add ice when pouring the smoothie or grind a few more to chill the smoothie if you like.

  • You can also use equal amounts of strawberry and vanilla ice cream.
Pour orange juice into the mixture. If you like, you can use orange juice without the cloves or use one with shrimp to add more consistency to the smoothie. Orange juice will add sourness to smoothies, as opposed to the sweetness of strawberries.

Add strawberry. You can use fresh strawberries or frozen strawberries. If you’re using frozen strawberries, you won’t need as much ice. If using fresh strawberries, be sure to wash and remove the stalks (the green leaves at the top of the strawberries) before you put them in the blender.
