Ingredients and tools for making Japanese-style steamed eggs Chawanmushi

Ingredient:

– Eggs: 1 egg

– Chicken: 50 grams

– Fresh shiitake (shiitake) mushrooms: 2 plants

– Shrimp: 2

– Coriander: 1 branch

– Kamaboko rolls: 80 grams

– Japanese mushroom soy sauce: 1.5 teaspoons

– Mirin alcohol: 1.5 teaspoons

– Dashi powder or seasoning powder: 1/2 teaspoon

Steps to make Chawanmushi Steamed Eggs

Step 1: Prepare chicken, shrimp, spring rolls and Shiitake mushrooms

Clean chicken and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Kamaboko rolls cut into 4 bite-sized pieces.

Shrimp you wash, remove the head, only shrimp, legs and remove the shell.

Shiitake mushrooms remove the legs and cut in half.

Mix 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and 1 teaspoon of Mirin. Then divide evenly to marinate with shrimp and chicken. Mix well for 5 minutes so that the shrimp and chicken can absorb the seasoning.
