Prepare the following ingredients:

  • 1-2 servings of 100% Agave Tequila
  • 1 part fresh green lemon juice
  • 1 part Triple Sec
  • Table salt or sea salt
  • Green lemon for decoration
  • Ice
  • Tabasco sauce (optional)
Wet the rim of the glass with lemon. Cut a small slit in the lemon slice and place the lemon slice over the rim of the glass. Rub a slice of lemon around the rim of the glass to moisten it.
Stick salt on the rim of the glass. Pour some granulated salt (table salt or sea salt) on the plate. Place the glass parallel to the plate so that the rim of the glass touches the salt, and then slowly rotate the glass.

  • Don’t just place the glass upside down on the plate like you would a cookie mold. You should make sure that the salt only sticks to the outside of the glass.
  • Or you can use sugar instead of salt to stick to the rim of the glass.
Fill the cocktail shaker 2/3-3/4 with ice cubes. Use large ice cubes because small ice usually dissolves quickly and dilutes the drink.
Pour 1-2 parts tequila into a shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need to pour 1-2 parts Tequila into the jar. The amount of Tequila you need depends on your taste.

  • You can start pouring 1 part tequila into the jar. If the taste is not strong enough, you can add more.
Pour 1 part Triple Sec into the shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1 part Triple Sec.
Pour 1 part fresh lemon juice into the shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1 part lemon juice.
Shake well. Shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed.
Pour the drink from the shaker into the glass. If you want to add ice to your Margarita, you need to put ice in the glass before pouring the drink in to avoid splashing water.

Garnish with lemon and enjoy. If you like, you can add some Tabasco sauce.
In this recipe, you can try the following ratio (Tequila: Triple Sec: Lemon juice):

  • 3:2:1
  • 3:1:1
  • 7:4:3
  • 8:1.5:3 (to reduce the taste of Triple Sec)

Prepare the following materials: [2] X Research Source

  • 1-1.5 parts fresh green lemon juice
  • 2 parts water
  • 1-2 servings of 100% Agave Tequila
  • 1/2-1 part Agave honey to enhance the taste
  • Ice
  • Table salt or sea salt
Stick salt on the rim of the glass. First, you need to wet the rim of the glass with lemon. Then, place the glass upside down in a shallow dish of granulated salt (eg table salt or sea salt).
Pour lemon juice into cocktail shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1-1.5 parts lemon juice, equivalent to about 2 medium or large lemons.
Pour water into the shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 2 parts water. It is recommended to use filtered or bottled water to ensure that dissolved minerals or additives do not affect the taste of the drink.
Pour the tequila into the shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1-2 parts Tequila, depending on the alcohol content of the Margarita you want.
Pour Agave honey into the shaker. To make 1 part Margarita, you need about 1/2-1 full portion of Agave molasses, depending on taste.
Place a spoonful of ice cubes (ice cream scoop) into the shaker. Need to add more ice than water: try to fill the shaker 2/3-3/4 full. [3] X Research Sources
Shake well. Shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds to ensure all ingredients are evenly mixed. [4] X Research Sources
Open the lid of the shaker. If the lid is stuck, you can pat the bottom of the jar with your palm.
Pour the Margarita into the glass.

Prepare materials:

  • 10-12 medium or large green lemons
  • 6-8 large lemons (lemons)
  • 1.5 servings of Tequila
  • 1/2 part Triple Sec
  • Fine-grained salt or sugar
  • Ice
Create your own sweet and sour Bar mix. Mix 1 cup of sugar with 1 cup of warm water in a large bowl and stir until the sugar dissolves. Next, add 1 cup of fresh green lemon juice. Then add 1 cup of fresh yellow lemon juice.

  • Another way to combine sugar with water is to put both ingredients in a jar and shake vigorously until the sugar dissolves in the water.
Prepare the glass. Use a slice of fresh lemon to wet the rim of a chilled glass. Then, place the glass upside down on a plate of fine-grained salt. For a sweet-salty taste, you can place the glass upside down in the salt and sugar mixture.
Pour 1.5 parts tequila into the blender. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1.5 parts Tequila.
Pour 1/2 part Triple Sec alcohol into the blender. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 1/2 part Triple Sec (Cointreau is the most commonly recommended).
Pour 3 parts Bar mixture into blender. To make 1 part Margarita, you need 3 parts Bar mix.
Put the ice cubes in the blender. Only add enough ice cubes to be slightly above the water level. Blend until mixture is smooth.
Pour into a glass and enjoy. You can garnish a wedge-shaped slice of lemon in the glass. Or you can add some fresh lemon juice (or simply squeeze fresh lemon garnish into the glass) before drinking.

Prepare a container that can hold 1900 ml of liquid. Make sure the container with the lid fits snugly and can fit in the freezer.

  • This recipe is based on using a 180 ml can of Limeade lemonade. If using a 360 ml can, this ratio can still be used, but you should reduce the amount of ingredients to 1/2. Otherwise the finished product will be 3800 ml Margarita.
Mix ingredients together in container. Use an empty Limeade can of lemonade to measure the other ingredients (use box units to measure). Place the following ingredients in the container:

  • 2 boxes of frozen Limeda lime juice
  • 6 boxes of water
  • 2 boxes of Tequila
  • 1 box of Triple Sec
Wait for the mixture to reach a smooth texture. It may take more than 4 hours. You can store the mixture in the freezer overnight; The alcohol will help the mixture soften without freezing. [5] X Research Sources
Prepare the glass. Before pouring the drink out, you need to prepare a glass by using lemon juice to wet the rim of the glass and then place the glass upside down on a plate of granulated salt.
Take the mixture out of the freezer. Take the container out of the freezer. If the lid of the can is too tight, you can shake it vigorously to separate the ice cubes and make sure all the ingredients are well blended.

  • If you can’t close the lid tightly to shake, you can open the lid, place it on the kitchen counter, and use a whisk to stir.

Prepare materials:

  • 1/2-3/4 cup of light beer (Corona beer is a good choice)
  • 1 cup Yellow Tequila (white wine doesn’t go well with beer)
  • Triple Sec to enhance the taste (the sweeter the better)
  • Juice of 1/4-1/2 green lemon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Carbonated water
  • Grinded ice
Prepare the glass. Use a slice of fresh lemon to wet the rim of a chilled glass. Then, place the wet glass upside down in a dish with salt or fine granulated sugar.

  • Note that this recipe makes for at least 2 cocktails.
Place Tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker. Stir and let stand about 30 minutes for the sugar to dissolve into the water.

  • Depending on your taste, you can adjust the amount of Triple Sec wine (if using). Try starting with 1/2 cup of Triple Sec.
Add ice to the jar and shake vigorously. Fill the pitcher with ice 2/3-3/4, close the lid and shake vigorously for at least 15 seconds.
Pour the shaken mixture into the glass. When the ingredients are well mixed, you can open the lid of the shaker and pour the mixture into the salted and chilled glass.
Pour beer into the glass. Pour another 1/2-3/4 cup of beer into the glass. You can add 1/2 cup of beer at first, then taste it before you want to add more.
Stir well and enjoy. Stir the ingredients together and then drink it. Adjust to taste and stir well.

  • At this point, you can add carbonated water to the cocktail to create effervescence.
Add shaved ice to the drink, stir well and enjoy. When you are satisfied with the taste of the drink, you can add some shaved ice, stir and enjoy.

Know how to choose a good tequila. 100% Agave tequila is the best. Tequila that is not 100% agave may contain corn syrup, sugar, spices and artificial colors. Good wine must have on the label that it is made from 100% Agave plant. [6] X Research Sources[7] X Research Sources

Know how to choose Triple Sec wine. Regular Triple Sec wine has an alcohol content of 15% to 40%. To make a heavier Margarita, you should choose Triple Sec with a high alcohol content like Cointreau (40% alc/vp, which means 400 ml of alcohol in 1000 ml).

  • There are many different brands of Triple Sec, popular including Curacao, Grand Marnier (actually orange-infused Cognac) and Cointreau. [8] X Research Sources[9] X Research Sources
  • To make Margarita simpler, you can skip Triple Sec.

Choose the perfect yellow lemon. Ripe yellow lemons have thin, glossy and soft skins; When rubbed on the lemon will have a faint fragrance. [10] X Research Source

  • For an authentic Mexican flavor, you should use Mexican or West Indian lemons, which are more tart and bitter than Persian lemons.
  • Or you can use fresh lime juice (try sweet Meyer lemons) for a milder taste.

Use a high-quality sweetener. Common sweeteners used in making margaritas include agave molasses (available at health food stores if not available at the grocery store), simple syrup, and honey.

  • You can make your own simple syrup at home by mixing water with sugar in a jar and shaking it well, or heat a mixture of sugar and water in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves. Depending on your taste, you can mix 1.5-2 parts sugar with 1 part water.
  • It is not necessary to use sweeteners. Some people don’t use sweeteners, but let orange wine make its own sweetness.

Use large ice cubes. Unless you’re making a ground Margarita, use large ice cubes (for example, to shake in a cocktail shaker). Large ice cubes do not melt as quickly as shaved or small ice; The less the ice melts, the stronger the cocktail and the better the taste. [11] X Research Source

Choose high-quality salt to stick to the glass. Sea salt and table salt are the most commonly recommended types for sticking to the rim of a glass. Table salt will create a slightly saltier taste than sea salt. [12] X Research Source

  • Avoid using fine salt to avoid sticking to the rim of the glass with fine salt particles and making the drink too salty. [13] X Research Source
  • You can buy ready-made salt mixes made specifically for margaritas at grocery stores and spirits stores.

Stick salt on the rim of the glass

Pour salt into a small plate. It is recommended to use sea salt and table salt because the large salt particles will stimulate the taste buds and create a more attractive look. It is recommended to use salt beads about 6 mm thick. [14] X Research Source

  • To create a sour-sweet rim, you can mix a little sugar with salt before sticking to the rim of the glass.
Wet the rim of the glass. The common way is to cut a groove on a wedge-shaped slice of lemon. Then, stick a slice of lemon on the glass as a garnish and rotate it around the rim of the glass.

  • Be careful not to squeeze the lemon too hard as you swirl around the rim of the glass to avoid letting the lemon juice drip into the glass. It’s okay if a little lemon juice gets in, it’s just going to look a little messy. [15] X Research Source

Stick salt on the rim of the glass. There are two common ways to stick salt on the rim of a glass. The first way is to place the mouth of the glass on the plate and rotate it around like when using a cookie cutter.

    • The other way is to keep the mouth of the glass parallel to the plate, so that the mouth of the glass lightly touches the salt. Next, use your hands to rotate the glass so that only the outside of the glass is covered with salt. This ensures that the salt only sticks to the outside of the glass and doesn’t get into the drink. • Advice

    • Margarita is delicious or not depends a lot on the quality of the ingredients, so you have to pay attention.
    • Chill the glass to keep the Margarita cocktail cool and refreshing for a long time.
    • To make Blue Margarita, you can use Blue Curaçao (made from dried Laraha orange peels, taste like oranges) instead of Triple Sec used to make Margarita.
    • For reference, a standard cocktail glass has a capacity of about 30-45 ml.
    • Consider trying adding herbs like mint, thyme, or coriander to your Margarita cocktail (don’t use all three at once). [17] X Research Source
    • Some people recommend squeezing fresh lemon juice about 4-10 hours before using; This helps to reduce the acidity of the lemon juice and enhance the lemon flavor. [18] X Research Sources
    • Some Margarita lovers suggest trying out cocktails without orange liquor. [19] X Research Source
