Use a pan that’s the right size for the number of sandwiches you want to make.
Heat the pan over medium heat. While the pan is heating up, you will cut the cheese into thin slices and have the bread ready. It is best to put a few tablespoons of water in the pan while it is heating, when the water boils, the pan is hot enough to put the first slice of bread in. Be sure to remove the water from the pan before adding the bread.
Put butter in a pan or spread on the outside of the bread and place a slice of bread in the pan that already has a slice of cheese on top. You can also add olive oil to the pan if desired. Then, immediately add the second slice of bread to the cheese. Reduce the heat and cover the pan to let the cheese melt.
Check to see if the bread has turned brown after about a minute and a half, although you will need more time to get the desired finish. When the bread is brown enough, turn the top of the bread down. Remove the remaining butter from the pan, so that the next slice of bread has a nice color.
Note that the other side will turn brown very quickly so you should always be ready to check. When the bread has the color you want, turn off the heat, put the sandwich on a plate and enjoy.

Prepare the ingredients and place them on the kitchen counter.
Make sure the oven is set to the correct temperature, usually 180–200°C. Have plates and knives ready.
Place two slices of bread on a plate with the rounded edges next to each other. This way, you will easily make sandwiches. Then, put a piece of cheese on each slice of bread. Make sure not to let the cheese show on the outside of the bread as it will look unsightly as the cheese melts.
Carefully place the bread in the oven as you would on a plate. Close the oven door and turn on the oven. Bake the bread for about 1-3 minutes. You just have to wait for the oven to signal that the baking is complete.
Open the oven and remove the baking tray. Carefully take each slice of bread and quickly place it on a plate. Do the same for the other slice of bread, but this time you will place that slice of bread on the first slice with the cheese on the inside. The edges of the two pieces of bread should be level. Press the two slices of bread together until you feel like the cheese has made the slices of bread stick together. You can add a little pepper to enhance the flavor of the bread.

Remove the bread to enjoy.

Use a charcoal grill.

Place the bread on the griddle. Place a slice of bread on the griddle and place cheese on top.
Wait. Wait until the bread is as brown as you want and spread the remaining slice of bread on top.
Flip the slice of bread. Flip the bread slices so that the toasted sides are golden brown and the cheese melts. The tongs will make it easier for you to do it.

Put the bread in the toaster. Bake for about 10-20 seconds, not longer.
Place cheese on bread. Microwave the sandwich for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
Take the cheese sandwich out of the microwave. Cut the bread diagonally to let the heat escape.

  • Advice

    • You can also use a toasted sandwich maker to make grilled cheese sandwiches.
    • Prepare and eat bread with a bowl of hot tomato soup or grilled tomato and red bell pepper soup for a delicious traditional side dish.
    • Make sure the other side of the sandwich doesn’t burn.
    • Add garlic salt along with butter for extra flavor.
    • Check if the pan is hot enough by adding a few drops of water to the pan. If the water boils quickly and disappears immediately, the pan is ready.

    • If you make bread for children, try using a knife to cut bread into shapes like hearts, circles, stars, etc.
    • Add some chili on top of the sandwich. The bread won’t look very good, but it’s delicious and you need to eat it with a fork.
    • You can grate the cheese and put it in the microwave. Place grated cheese on one slice of bread and spread the other slice on top. Heat the bread for about 2-3 minutes. Then take out the bread and enjoy!
    • Add some powdered seasoning like Adobo to the butter.
    • Dip the bread with ketchup, soy sauce, tomato soup or other toppings to your taste.
    • Add a layer of sour cream, mustard sauce and garlic butter for a different flavor.
