How to make cookies in Minecraft?

Minecraft places a lot of importance on crafting weapons with any elements you mine. With an infinite supply of everything, you can build about anything in the Minecraft world.

However, while you’re busy doing all that mining, fighting and general running around, your health bar drops and to replenish it, you’re going to have to eat. Now there are several things you can eat in the game, including hunting animals for wheat or farming food off of trees, but there are specific delicious recipes.

In this article, we’re taking a look at how to make cookies in Minecraft.

Cookies in Minecraft

To make a cookie in Minecraft, you need the following items:

• 2 x Wheat: Can be farmed using seeds, hay bale and bone meal (optional to speed up plant growth). Alternatively, you can also find wheat in villages.
• Cocoa beans: Can be found in cocoa pods which in turn are found in jungles. Alternatively, you can farm cocoa pods on your own.

Finding the things required for crafting cookies is the hard part; once you’re done, you will need a crafting table since the recipe for a cookie requires a 3 x 3 crafting grid. Once you have everything in place, follow these steps.

Step 1: Right-click the crafting table to open the crafting grid.

Step 2: Place the wheat and cocoa beans in the pattern shown below. You can craft eight cookies at once using this recipe.

Alternatively, if you’re playing in creative mode or have cheats enabled, you can use the following command to give yourself (or anyone else on the map) cookies.

/give @p cookie 1

Cookies restore two hunger and 0.4 hunger saturation per cookie when eaten. Placing a cookie into a composter has an 85% chance of raising the compost level by one. Lastly, feeding cookies to parrots can kill them because chocolate is poisonous to parrots.
