Take a few days or weeks to reflect on yourself and how you look in front of others. You know that you are loved by your friends, but what will your image be in the eyes of your boss, in the eyes of teachers or strangers on the street? Review your appearance and attitude before everything.

  • Take a photo each day in different outfits.

Review your outfit. Start adding to your wardrobe elegant clothes.

  • For an elegant look, you need to focus on quality over quantity and choose a few good basics, such as a chic jacket and trousers.
  • Pants and jeans: When shopping, you should choose pants that are designed to fit your length, waistline, and generally true to your measurements. Trousers can be stylish and trendy. Clothing that fits and fits your body will show that you care about how you dress. Choose jeans that fit well. If the leg is too long, you should wear high heels (women) or change to another pair of pants. Nobody looks elegant in a pair of oversized jeans that sweep the ground. You will look like you just grabbed a pair of pants somewhere and put it on without even bothering to notice if it fits or not.
  • For men, fitted trousers or khakis and khaki shorts for summer wear are appropriate.
  • T-shirts: T-shirts are fine, but t-shirts with controversial or vulgar prints should be avoided. Do not wear baggy shirts. You can start looking for t-shirts with social messages, old rock bands, and insightful commentary.
    • Make sure the shirt you wear has a message that you care about. Surely you don’t want people to ask about the words printed on the shirt you are wearing that you don’t understand. You can wear shirts from your favorite band, but team it up with a jacket to create your own style and not look like you just walked out of a thrift store. You can use a variety of items from your existing wardrobe, just highlighting your beauty.
    • T-shirts should not be worn everywhere all the time; and when wearing a t-shirt, you should wear it with a jacket, add a belt and a suitable pair of shoes.

Occasionally wear a nice shirt for a change. Buy shirts with cropped cuts that fit your figure. Choose the appropriate length, neither too short nor too long. Plan ahead, and don’t rummage through the bottom of your closet to pull up old clothes and go back to your old style every season.

  • Ladies should look for outfits that look tailored and accentuate your charm. Don’t hide in bulky sweaters; Look for shirts that fit like custom. Combination of short and long sleeves. If appropriate, you can rock it a bit with bright colors and trendy prints.
  • Guys should wear well-fitting shirts. Create richness by choosing bright colors. If it suits you, you can change it up a bit with trendy colors and prints.

Wear sportswear only when necessary. Both men and women should avoid wearing sportswear, unless you’re actually participating in the sport. It also means not wearing this outfit in advance even if you will need it later. Unless you’re at the gym, running, or in gym class; otherwise, you should carry sportswear in your pocket, including your favorite jersey.

Wear shoes that are undamaged (free from scratches and scuffs), well-fitting and polishable (except suede shoes). You can buy some good quality shoes, the bright colors make you more beautiful and exude elegance while still keeping your personality.

  • Men should buy some black and brown shoes. Again, remember to wear shoes that can be polished and won’t wear out.

Pay attention to personal hygiene !

  • Shower and shave every day, at least once a day, and more if you play sports.
  • Use a light perfume or body spray.
  • Guys should get a haircut once a month. If you have a long hairstyle, you should at least trim the hair on the back of your neck. You can still grow long hair with a unique style, but it must look neat and clean.
  • A hairy neck will look sloppy and dirty.
  • Ladies avoid dyeing your hair, unless you have the time and money to fix and re-dye the roots.
  • Black hair is pretty, but can look too dark to be natural. Choose hair colors that match your skin tone.

Apply a skin care regimen and do it regularly every day.

  • Wash and exfoliate with skin care products appropriate for your skin type.
  • See a dermatologist if you have acne or other skin problems.

Wear good quality glasses. Eyes are invaluable assets that you need to preserve. Buy glasses if necessary.

  • Get your eyes checked if you haven’t had an eye exam in a while, if you can’t see the blackboard clearly in the back of class, get a headache while reading, or use the computer too much.
  • If you need to wear glasses, you should buy glasses with neutral plastic frames (brown, black, or tortoiseshell) or metal frames.
  • If you are wearing silver jewelry, you should choose silver frames.
  • If you don’t need to wear glasses, you can buy glasses without degrees, but you will probably get teased when someone finds out. Glasses are essential items. Instead of wearing contact lenses, wear glasses with frames. You will look educated with glasses on.

Look at your behaviors to see which ones attract negative attention and which attract positive attention. Think about the reasons that lead you to act the way you do. Want to arouse conflicting opinions? To entice people? To be like friends or to fit in with a certain group? Evaluate the consequences of your actions. Now you have learned a little about yourself through introspection. Do those consequences affect everyone? Perhaps yes. So now you have become a philosopher!

  • Know that you can still refine your appearance without losing your integrity or losing friends.

Understand that you can still maintain your individuality and style. If you often dress shabbily or are too old for your age, you need to step out of your comfort zone and try something new.

Look at the people you admire and think about what makes them different from you. Is that the appearance? Is confidence? Or is it just because they are more graceful?

{“smallUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images_en/thumb/6/64/Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-15-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Act-and- Look-Smart-Step-15-Version-3.jpg”,”bigUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images/thumb/6/64/Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-15- Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-15-Version-3.jpg”,”smallWidth”:460,”smallHeight”:345,”bigWidth”:728,”bigHeight” :546,”licensing”:”<div class=”mw-parser-output”></div>”}
Be honest. You’ll seem smarter when you talk about what you know. Yes, you can go anywhere with a book of quantum physics in your hand, but what if you meet someone knowledgeable on the subject and strike up a conversation with you? At that time I was afraid that you would look like an impostor and stupid.

Improve knowledge

Image titled Act and Look Smart Step 2

Image titled Act and Look Smart Step 2

{“smallUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images_en/thumb/6/69/Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-2-Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Act-and- Look-Smart-Step-2-Version-3.jpg”,”bigUrl”:”https://www.wikihow.com/images/thumb/6/69/Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-2- Version-3.jpg/v4-728px-Act-and-Look-Smart-Step-2-Version-3.jpg”,”smallWidth”:460,”smallHeight”:345,”bigWidth”:728,”bigHeight” :546,”licensing”:”<div class=”mw-parser-output”></div>”}
Learn general knowledge. You have to learn each thing a little bit and put it together into a common understanding. Did you know that Martin Van Buren was the eighth president of the United States and began his term in 1837? If someone is talking to you or you are chatting in a group of friends and you know something, say it out loud. Don’t interrupt others to avoid looking like an idiot. Don’t forget, however, that the line between occasionally showing understanding and acting like “I know it all” is thin. Be careful not to go too far.

Go beyond your little world. Learn about current events and what’s happening in the wider world.

  • Spend at least 20 minutes reading news every day on the internet.
  • Read about a variety of topics and people that interest you.
  • Visit museums, art shows, historical sites, astronomers, etc. Immerse yourself in the world around you. Learning always brings knowledge, and you will have more intellectual topics to talk about.
  • Stay away from video games and don’t stay up all night chatting with friends online. You don’t have to give up your pastimes entirely, but you should rebalance to make room for other things.

Accomplish assigned tasks, whether you’re in high school or college or working, and always be prepared. These tasks can be reading, writing reports, and even doing further research.

Expand your knowledge of the areas you love. If you like music, you can read books about your favorite bands, the music industry, previous bands that inspired current bands, digital music production, musical instruments, etc. Similarly, you can learn about fields such as art, history, fashion, philosophy, religion, etc. Bring those books, you will have looks much wiser and more interesting than fake people.

Interact with people

Participate in charitable activities or perform civic duties. These activities will help you broaden your view of the world and give you a lot of knowledge about people and society.

Spend time talking to people who are older and more experienced than you. Talk about the past, about historical events they have experienced, and ask questions.

Make a positive contribution to the classroom and don’t get lost. Try to answer as many tough questions as you can, but avoid questions that are too obvious because they won’t impress you, and if you get it wrong, you’ll look like a fool. Ask questions and discuss candidly with teachers about relevant topics and ideas during and after class. Teachers will appreciate your interest, even if they are relatively new.

Don’t put pressure on yourself to speak up about everything. Sometimes the best thing to do is just listen. Furthermore, people will appreciate your opinion more if you speak less.

Don’t try to pretend to know everything. Those who really know will just look at it and find out right away. Instead, wait for the conversation to lead to a familiar topic that you are familiar with, or you can subtly steer the conversation in that direction.

Ask questions. Actively participate in discussions or conversations. Don’t pretend you know everything. The smartest people are the ones who ask lots of questions. Sometimes the attitude of pretending to know it all… and not asking much can make people uncomfortable.
  • Advice

    • Never stop learning, the world is a book full of interesting things that you do not know.
    • Don’t brag about your intelligence. Smart people don’t need to talk much.
    • Don’t be afraid to speak in front of people.
    • Try not to snap. Think before you speak. A little time to think will help you react better.
    • Listen and ask questions. You’ll be more engaging asking questions than just nodding your head and pretending you understand everything.
    • Choose harder classes, don’t just choose easy classes to be lazy.
    • Smart people know when to ask for help. If you don’t understand a subject, you should ask for help or find a tutor.
    • Complete assignments at school and at home. You don’t seem smart when you’re slacking off yourself.
    • Staying away from friends is bad and doesn’t make you a good person. Remember: near ink is black.
    • Participate in school competitions that require essay writing, art projects or research. Even if you don’t win, you’ll still have great experiences.
    • Sit next to good learners in class (chemistry, biology, etc.) when grouping. This will help you work harder and be less likely to get sucked into time-consuming junk.
    • Read about topics that interest you. For example, if you enjoy playing computer games, you can read about the process of creating a certain game.

    Warning
