How to Link Instagram to Facebook

This is an article on how to link Instagram and Facebook accounts using the Instagram app on iPhone and Android. It is recommended that you link the two accounts together, because once linked, you can follow your Facebook friends on Instagram and even post new posts to Instagram and Facebook at the same time (“simultaneous posting”) using the Instagram app . While you can post Instagram photos and videos to Facebook, you cannot post Facebook content to Instagram.

Enter your email address and Facebook login password. This is the operation to log in to your Facebook account right in the Instagram application.

Select the audience to see Instagram posts on Facebook. Tap the selection box and choose one of the following privacy options:

Review posting options. You can enable simultaneous posting by tapping “OK” so that every Instagram post is published on the Facebook page. If you don’t want to choose to post simultaneously, tap “Not Now”; this will return you to Instagram’s Options menu.

You can open this option at any time by tapping the “Facebook” tab below the Linked Accounts menu.

Open the Instagram app. To post simultaneously, you need to upload or take a photo or video.
