Dry skin on the feet is a skin problem that dermatologists call abnormally dry or scaly dry skin caused by a lack of sebum, but more commonly known as “winter itch.” Dry skin on the feet often occurs in the winter months, when the humidity in the air is low. Adjust shower frequency. When you shower, you strip away a lot of the natural oils from your skin. Take a warm bath. Similar to bathing too long or too often, the high temperature of the bath water can also strip the skin of its natural oils.
