The white part of the eye is called the sclera and this is where a person’s overall health is expressed. A yellowish or reddish sclera can affect your appearance because it makes you look old and tired. It is also a sign of health problems related to allergens, toxins in the body and even more serious problems with the liver. There are many therapies available to help treat or reduce red/yellow color in the whites of the eyes, from using eye drops to changing your diet and applying makeup.

Use regular eye drops like Visine or Clear Eyes. These eye drop products are used to reduce eye redness and provide moisture to help fight irritation or dryness. Try using eye drops with a higher viscosity. The Japanese brand of eye drops Rohto is a thicker product than natural tears.
