MLB The Show 21 keeps it going since launching a few months ago, and one place it’s doing that is Road to the Show (RTTS).
If you’re haven’t played RTTS in MLB The Show 21 or just some advice, this Road to the Show Survival Guide should be of much help.
Latest – MLB The Show 21 comes out with 3rd Inning Program
MLB the Show 21 put out a 3rd Inning Program a couple days ago, but fans only have until July 2nd to finish it. The new Inning Program involves a Conquest Map shaped like a pizza slice in Diamond Dynasty. Players can conquer different areas of the map to earn rewards.
The 3rd Inning Program includes 3 new bosses for Diamond Dynasty. The new bosses are Dennis Eckersley, Grady Sizemore, and Troy Glaus. Eckersley and Grady Sizemore already have cards in the game, but Glaus is brand new and ultra powerful.
There’s also three new missions, new conquest rewards, and new collections for this 3rd Inning Program. If you’re curious about specifics, click here.
How to Create Your Ballplayer
The first thing you’ll need to do in MLB The Show 21 to prepare for Road to the Show is create your custom Ballplayer.
This new version of create-a-player will allow you to customize appearance and other details about your Ballplayer, but it’s important to note they’ll be in more than just Road to the Show.
You’ll also be able to take your Ballplayer into Diamond Dynasty for the first time once they’re ready to beef up your Ultimate Team.
Choose Your Team
When you start a new Road to the Show in MLB The Show 21, the first decision you make will have to do with which team you’re drafted by.
Whether you’re interested in choosing your favorite team or just letting the game pick one or a type of club for you, the first dialogue decisions you make will affect where your Ballplayer ends up.
You may have to follow the dialogue tree with a few extra answers if your advisor doesn’t guess the team right away, but be specific and you’ll get to choose your exact team.
How to be a Two-Way player
One of the new facets of Road to the Show in MLB The Show 21 is the option to be a true two-way player that is not just a position player or a pitcher.
Instead you can get the best of both worlds and make sure you’re batting and in the field as well as pitching, but this isn’t a requirement.
When prompted about being a two-way player, you can choose a dialogue option that declines and states you’d prefer to focus on one position only.
Choosing Your Position in Road to the Show
In the same way that Road to the Show gives you the option to choose your team and whether you want to be a two-way player, you can also pick your specific position.
Pay attention to the dialogue options early in the game when speaking to your team manager, and you’ll be able specify exactly which position you’d like to play.
You can also leave things open-ended and let the game play for you, but the dialogue options will signify this and your replies will affect the position you end up with.
Loadouts in MLB The Show 21
One of the new additions to MLB The Show 21 is loadouts, and they play a crucial role in Road to the Show.
Loadouts allow you to choose specific archetype items and perks that will give your Ballplayer temporary boosts to individual stats or skills.
How you pick your loadout will entirely depend on what kind of player you’re using, as most are specific to position and playstyle.

How to get traded in RTTS
One of the nice things about Road to the Show is that you get to choose which MLB club your Ballplayer signs to, but sometimes things don’t continue to go your way.
If you’re looking for greener pastures in RTTS, the good news is that there is a way to get traded to another organization.
