Steps

Punch two holes into a medium-sized raw egg. Eggs usually have a small, pointed end. Punch a hole in the small end first, then make another hole in the other end (ie, make two holes up and down). To poke the first hole, you will use a pin or buy a specialized egg piercing tool available at some stores selling imported products. Then you will make the hole bigger to get the egg yolk out. To do this, you will either continue to use a stapler or similar tool, or to be more effective, you will use two round nails, one 2mm in diameter and the other 4mm. Sharpen each nail with a file tool or a sander with a rough surface to create 4 sharp edges. Use a nail to drill a hole to blow air. Then continue to enlarge the remaining hole, about twice the size of the first hole because this is the hole where you will pour the eggs out.

One way to help keep your eggs from breaking while stabbing is to place duct tape or bandaging over the spot where you’ll be piercing.
You can also poke the eggs with a small hand drill (not an electric drill), a small rotary tool, or with your fingers. Allow the shell to sink in gently, do not push hard and tear the eggshell when the shell has just cracked.

Look for soft spots on the eggshell – sometimes those spots are gray. If you can’t find one, just pick a spot in between the two egg ends and poke the hole.
Hold the egg firmly in your non-dominant hand (but don’t break it!) and use your dominant hand to push a nail into the egg. Insert the nail gently with even force.
To make it easier for you to poke holes in the eggs, try rubbing the eggshells with fine-grained sandpaper to thin the shells. That way, you can easily use a pin or a paper clip to pierce the eggshell. The paper clip is suitable for breaking the egg yolk inside, making it easy for the egg to flow out.

Insert a needle, wire, straightened paper clip, toothpick, or small bubbler through the large hole. Pierce the yolk and break the mucous membrane that surrounds it. Gently push the tool into the hole continuously.

Decide how you will get the eggs out. The traditional method usually uses a small straw (a straight straw used to drink water) and air from the mouth, but you can also use a syringe to push air into the hole. If you don’t want to use your mouth, you can choose from one of the following devices:

If you want to use the traditional method, you will attach the straw to the small hole. Blow air through the straw into the inside of the egg so that the egg yolk flows out through the large hole. Or you can also put your mouth on a hole and blow. Repeat until you run out of eggs.

If you want to use a pump or special device used to push the egg out, you will place the device in the small hole in the egg. Push air or water through the hole to let the egg out. If using water, you cannot use eggs for cooking. Repeat the process until all eggs are removed.

Take a cup of water and pour in the eggshell to rinse the inside. Then take a straw or pump to push the water and leftover eggs out. Shake gently and repeat until the eggshell is cleaned.

You’ll need to do this above the prepared bowl – if you want to use the eggs for later use, use another bowl to collect the water, or pour the water into the sink.

Dry the empty eggshell. You can put the eggshells in the microwave on high heat for about 15 – 30 seconds or bake them in the oven at 150ºC. This way you will make the eggshell harder.

Or you can let the eggshell drain (put the big hole facing down) for 2-3 days.

Completed. Now the eggshell is ready for decoration or display.

Advice

If possible, use eggs at room temperature so they don’t harden and come out more easily.
Don’t waste eggs! When you take out all the egg yolks, you can still use them to make scrambled eggs or other dishes, just make sure the utensils used are clean. Cover the bowl with cling film, and use a plate to cover or a suitable utensil to cover the eggs until needed.
Note that after removing the egg yolk, the egg will float when you enter the dyed water.
If you want to decorate the egg more, you can take a small needle and pierce the shape of the eggshell. You won’t see the texture clearly if left alone, but when dyed, the design will stand out.
