If you have other options, such as answering security questions and/or identifying some of the person’s friends, follow the instructions to access the account.

  • If you still can’t access the account, you can try a document that stores the password on the person’s computer. That document may be named “Passwords” or “Passwords” if they have already created it.
  • If you want to access someone’s account who is missing or has legal problems, contact your local authority. Law enforcement can access a user’s Facebook account if they have the appropriate warrant.
