How to Find a Website’s IP Address

This article shows you how to find the IP address of a website. You can do this using your computer’s built-in “router” functionality, or download and use a free route-finder app for iPhone or Android.

Type ping and a space, then enter the website address (including the “www.” part ), add a space and -t .

For example, to search for Google’s IP address, you would type ping google.com -t into the Command Prompt.
Make sure you enter the correct website extension (such as “.com” instead of “.net”).
There must be a space between ping , site name and -t .

Enter the website address. You will enter the address of the website to find the IP address in the data input field at the top of the window.

For example, to find Google’s IP address, you would enter google.com here.
No need to enter “https://” or “www.” in the website address section.

Take note of the website’s IP address. You’ll see the IP address in parentheses next to “traceroute to [website]”; This is the IP address of the website.
