This article shows you how to find the IP address of a website. You can do this using your computer’s built-in “router” functionality, or download and use a free route-finder app for iPhone or Android.

Type ping and a space, then enter the website address (including the “www.” part ), add a space and -t .

  • For example, to search for Google’s IP address, you would type ping google.com -t into the Command Prompt.
  • Make sure you enter the correct website extension (such as “.com” instead of “.net”).
  • There must be a space between ping , site name and -t .
