JAR file (short for “Java Archive”) – compressed folder file. It is similar to a zip file. When extracting a Jar file, you are extracting the contents of the Java Archive file into a directory. After exporting to the folder, you will be able to access each document stored in the Jar Archive file. [1] X Standard Jar Research Resources are easy to open on Windows, but they are inherently incompatible with Mac and Linux operating systems. Therefore, each operating system will have a different decompression process.
