Below are step-by-step instructions on how to draw a shark.

Drawing Cartoon Shark

Draw a circle. Under the circle, draw a conical curve with a sharp angle that deviates only to the left.

Draw an acute angle to the right of the circle.

Outline the “fishtail” at the bottom of the picture using corner shapes.

Draw shark fins. The fins of a shark are usually pointed and slightly curved.

Draw an egg shape to make the shark’s nose and eyes. Draw one more curved line to make the eyebrows. In fact, sharks usually don’t have such big eyes but this is a cartoon shark version so you can freely imagine.

Draw a shark’s mouth. As far as we know, sharks have sharp and pointed teeth, you can draw small triangles to make shark teeth.

Outline the outer contour of the shark.

Shade the fins and tail.

Draw 3 curved lines to make the gill slit of the shark. For a cartoon shark, you can divide its body into 2 parts: on the back and below the belly with a slightly curved line running along the body.

Draw a triangle whose acute angle rotates to the right. Draw two slightly curved lines extending from the bottom 2 corners of the triangle and with a vertical line crossing the ends. On the left side of the picture, draw a curved triangle with the sharp angle pointing downwards.

Draw more triangles to make shark fins. Sharks usually have fins such as pectoral, dorsal and anal fins.
