How to Draw a Dinosaur

In this simple step-by-step drawing tutorial, I will show you how to draw a dinosaur using the example of a brachiosaurus.

In this tutorial on how to draw a dinosaur, I will show you the process of creating a cartoon version of this creature. The dinosaur is specially made in a simplified form so that anyone can cope with the task.

As I wrote above, in this tutorial we will draw a brachiosaurus. But using this instruction, you will be able to ichthyosaurus. To do this, simply replace the legs with fins.

At the end of the lesson, it will be necessary to color the drawing. I used shades of green, but you can use other colors because we do not know for certain what color these dinosaurs were.

How to Draw a Dinosaur

1. Draw the head of the dinosaur.

   Using smooth lines outline the head and muzzle with a smiling mouth.

2. Draw the neck.

   To do this, use two long and flowing lines.

3. Draw the torso.

   To do this, use two smooth and slightly curved lines.

4. Sketch the legs.

   Please note that the legs of our dinosaur are quite short and thick.

5. Add the remaining legs.

   To do this, use a couple of short and simple lines like in my example.

6. Detail the dinosaur.

   Draw the eye, nostril, a line from the neck to the tail, nails, and a heart pattern on the torso.

7. Color the dinosaur.

   As I said, you can use the colors from my example, or use a different color palette.
