Find the movie you want to download. There are many places where you can download movies, from YouTube to file download sites. In most cases, you probably have to pay to download the movie legally.

  • You need to make sure you are not breaking the law before proceeding to download the movie.
  • On the torrent site, you can download movies with uTorrent or BitTorrent.

Make sure the movie you choose is safe. When downloading any content on the Internet, beware of pages with a lot of ads or pop-ups, as well as sites where the address doesn’t have the “HTTPS” protocol before the “www” part.

  • If possible, you should check out everyone’s comments and reviews about the download file. If other users have reported a virus or other problem, you should avoid using that site.
  • You also need to make sure that the format of the movie will work on the computer, TV, or other device that you use to watch the movie.

Unplug the USB. When prompted, you can unplug the flash drive from the USB port on your computer.
  • Advice

    • You need to make sure the source of the movie is reliable before proceeding to download it to your computer.
    • Downloading with torrents is usually safer than downloading files from a certain website. You can check reviews and comments on each torrent first to ensure that the content is safe; if the torrent has no reviews or comments (or is underrated) then you should not download the movie.
    • When downloading torrents, you will see unnecessary additional content such as sample images or text files. You can unmark these files when asked to not download them.

    Warning

    • If the system warns that the content you downloaded is a virus, delete the file and run an anti-virus program on your computer right away.
