Search for waters. Since the setting in GTA V is an area created based on California, finding the water is not too difficult. If you’re controlling Michael, you can practice swimming in the backyard. If you want to try swimming in a larger area there are several lakes that empties into the river.

  • The Tataviam Mountains have a large body of water at their center, just outside Los Santos to the northeast.
  • There is another large lake north of Los Santos, located in the heart of Vinewood.
  • In addition to the ocean, the largest body of water is the Alamo Sea, which flows into many other small rivers. This sea is located west of Sandy Shores (sand coast).
