Both the Google app and the Android Clock (built-in clock) are great for scheduling reminders on your Android device, and you can also use Google Calendar to schedule reminders for all. option is connected to Google.

Set reminder details. You can change the following details at the bottom of the prompt’s menu:

  • Date — Tap Date , then select a date in the drop-down menu, or tap Set date… to select a specific date.
  • Time — Tap Time , then select a time from the drop-down menu, or tap Set time… to select a specific time.
  • Repeat — If you want the reminder to repeat, tap Repeat , then tap the gray REPEAT WEEKLY switch and the day you want the reminder to repeat.

Select the date to repeat if necessary. If you want the reminder to apply multiple times instead of just once, tap the abbreviations of the days that you want the alarm to repeat.

  • For example, if you want a reminder to report every Tuesday (Tuesday) and Thursday (Thursday) each week, you can click the T options in the “Repeat” section.

Add name. Tap Alarm name , then enter the name of the reminder and tap OK .

  • For example, for a reminder about a business meeting, you’d enter Noon appointment and set the alarm for 11:00.
  • You can also adjust other options such as whether the alarm should vibrate or not, and select a ringer or vibration for the alarm before continuing.

Enter a reminder. If your Android device’s keyboard doesn’t pop up, tap the “Remind me to…” text box, then enter the reminder name.

  • All-day — Tap the blue “All-day” switch to disable the all-day feature if your event occurs at a specific time, or tap the colored “All-day” switch gray (if necessary) when your reminder alerts you to an all-day event.
  • Time — If you have disabled the “All-day” button, click here to select a new time, then press OK .
  • Repetition — If you want the reminder to repeat, tap the Does not repeat option, then select an option from the menu. You can also tap Custom… at the bottom of the menu and select a specific date.
