Print the business card in the archive or transfer the file to the printer. If you’re going to print business cards at home, you’ll need high-quality paper. Limit the use of off-white or off-white colors and opt for overlays. Most business cards don’t have a coating, however some people prefer a business card with a glossy finish. Many print shops will open saved business card templates and print them for you.

  • When buying paper, be sure your home printer can handle it. Check the printer’s documentation or support page for details about the paper type the machine supports.

Use a sharp cutting tool to complete the business card. After printing is complete, you need to cut into separate business cards. Each sheet of paper will usually have ten business cards on it. Do not use scissors or other cutting methods that force you to maintain a straight line. Use a high-precision paper trimmer or cutter instead. Many print shops have these kits available to customers or they can cut for you.

Tip: The standard Vietnamese business card size is usually 9 x 5.5 cm or 8.8 x 5.3 cm. Meanwhile, the standard US business card size is usually 8.9 x 5 cm (5 x 8.9 cm vertically).
