Open the Settings section of your Samsung phone or tablet. Find the gear icon on your home screen or app drawer.

You need to make sure that the switch of the Predictive text″ feature is in the On position.

(On). The option is usually below the ″Smart typing″ heading. If the keyboard is tracking what you type to generate predictive suggestions, the switch is already in the ″On″ position.

  • If the switch is in the Off/gray position, there is no keyboard history to clear.

Scroll down and tap Clear personal data or Reset Settings . The name of the option may vary by model, but you’ll generally find it near the bottom of the menu.
