Rinse the glass under warm running water.
Wash the glasses carefully with mild soap (eg dish soap) and warm water. If necessary, you can use a cotton cloth or soft cloth moistened and wiped clean. Use your fingers to apply soap in a circular motion.

  • Wash the entire bezel, including the nose pad.
  • Do not use bleach or dishwashing liquid that contains citric acid. Acidic bleach will damage the glass.
Wipe off the soap in a circular motion when rinsing the glasses under warm running water. Rinse the soap off with clean tap water and shake off any remaining water.
Use a cotton cloth or leather cloth, soft cotton cloth to wipe each straight line on the lens. Really clean glass is when all the water has almost run out and you just need to dry the bezel.

  • Clothes or towels should not be dusty.
Use a soft-bristled brush to brush away dirt from the nose pad and be careful not to scratch the lenses.

Soak in soapy water

Fill the tub with warm water and a little mild dish soap or a similar cleaning product.
Soak the lenses in soapy water. Island back and forth.
Rinse the lenses with cool water. Turn on the faucet to let the water run to wash off the soap. Rotate the glass in a circular motion so that the water can wash away the soap on both sides with the same force.
Place a soft cloth on one side of the lens. Fold the towel so that it covers both sides of one lens. Place your thumb on the towel on the inside of the lens, and your index and middle fingers on the outside. Move your finger/thumb from left to right. Apply moderate pressure from your finger as if you were clicking on a lens in a slow motion. Repeat with the other side of the lens.
Rinse the lenses again with tap water.

Shake gently to remove water from the lenses. Shake off the water before using a dry cloth to clean the glass. Be sure to use the same towel to dry your lenses as you would with water. However, instead of wiping from left to right, you should move your finger in a circular motion. Use a cotton swab to dry the small crevices.

Put your glasses on to see if there are any stubborn stains or soap residue. If so, wash the glass again.

Prepare fabric.

  • If you use a damp cloth to clean your eyeglasses, you SHOULD NOT dry them with a regular towel. Instead, use a smooth cloth like a t-shirt to avoid scratching the glass.

    Wipe the lenses.
  • Advice

    • Avoid using a rough cloth to clean the glass as a dry cloth will scratch the glass.
    • Buy an eyeglass case to keep your eyeglasses clean and tidy.
    • Do not place the glasses in a place where others can use them temporarily, such as on a table. Others may drop or dirty your glasses while you are sleeping.
    • Use a good quality cloth specifically designed to clean your lenses.
    • Always remember to clean your eyeglasses at night before going to bed.
    • Be careful and use both hands when taking off your glasses and putting them on.
    • It is best to use a microfiber cloth to dry the glass.
    • You can use the supplied cloth to dry the glasses.
    • Do not open the water with too much force to avoid damaging the glass.
    • Clean your eyeglasses at least twice a week.

    Warning

    • Do not use paper towels to clean the glass as it is a wood product and wood fibers can damage the glass.
    • Do not polish the lenses or use a dry cloth to rub. Doing so will damage the lenses.
    • Do not use hand soap, laundry detergent or ammonia-containing cleaners to clean your lenses if the lenses have a coating. These products are often sticky and need to be bleached several times to remove the marks on the lenses. Not only that, but they also contain chemicals that can damage the lens coating.
    • Anti-reflective coating and/or UV coating to help you see better or protect your eyes from harmful rays when looking at bright sunlight will cause spots to appear. Continuous wearing of lenses will cause permanent spots on the lens surface that cannot be corrected. The same goes for plastic and glass lenses.
    • Do not let the lenses come into contact with the tabletop or the place where the glasses are placed.
    • Be careful when cleaning plastic glasses under high temperature. Hot water helps to clean glass cleaner but can deform plastic glass.
    • Do not touch dry lenses. Dust particles will scratch the lenses.
    • Many eyeglass frames (frames) manufacturers use screws to secure the lenses. You should be careful when using it because the screw is easy to come off. In addition, the frame paint is also easy to peel off even if you don’t wash it with the above methods. You need to check the frames for these problems before wearing them. If the glass has screws attached, make sure the sink button is securely attached. If not, there is a chance that the screw is lost and one side of the lens is loose. When the screw falls, a “PING” sound is often heard. You should be careful not to fumble for screws while your eyeglasses have only one lens left.
