Check out other categories. The top of the page has 3 values that will show how much RAM your Android device uses:

    • System – The number of GB occupied by the Android device’s operating system.
    • Apps – Number of GB used by running apps.
    • Free – The remaining GB of RAM.
  • Advice

    • RAM is memory that is distributed among different processes (such as applications or programs) to operate. Hard drive memory, on the other hand, stores all the files, folders, or programs on the computer – regardless of whether they are running or not.

    Warning

    • If some malicious process is taking up a significant amount of memory space, you need to check the device with anti-virus software.
    • Only remove processes that you are certain are not key components of the system. You can easily corrupt and be unable to recover the files or data that the operating system needs to run.
