Choose the hairstyle that best suits your face shape . For the best look, choose a hairstyle that matches your face shape. [2] X Research Source

  • Oval faces go well with almost any hairstyle, although long hair can make an oval face look longer.
  • Square faces merge with hairstyles that are longer than the jawline. In particular, you should avoid hairstyles that reach your chin, as it will make a square face look even more square. In addition, you should also avoid straight and angular cuts like bangs or bobs. Slanted bangs, wavy bangs, and staggered hair that wrap around the face are good options.
  • The triangle face is suitable for short hairstyles because it helps to balance the wide jawline by increasing the width of the head. If you prefer a longer hairstyle, remember that the hair must be longer than the chin, otherwise the lower part of the face will look very large.

  • A diamond-shaped face suits hair that is thick on the sides but not thick on the top. In other words, avoid the high cut! The bangs and staggered hair surrounding the face look good. Remember to avoid having thick hair in the middle of your head.
  • An elongated face requires you to cut the length of the face. Avoid hairstyles that are too long. Bob hairstyles, staggered hair and flat bangs will suit an elongated face.

Consider dyeing your hair . Dyeing your hair is a great way to make your look stand out. Before dyeing your hair, you should consider which colors work best with your skin tone and eye color.

Find your style. Search online for the styles you like best. Based on which styles you find most attractive and make you most confident to base your decision on. Consider your personality and ask yourself how you show it through your outer style.
