Change name. Substitute the name you want into both the “First” (“First Name”) and “Last” (“Last Name”) data areas.
- If you’re changing a username, you’ll need to enter both the first and last name.
- If you are changing the channel name, Youtube will not show the “Last” section, only the “Name” or “Name” section for you to enter.

Click on CHANGE NAME or RENAME when the confirmation dialog box appears. So your account name (or Youtube channel name) has been changed.

- If you don’t have a Youtube channel, changing the username on your Google+ account will make your channel’s name named after that Google+ account.
